EDLYA stands for East District Lutheran Young Adults. It is a group composed of Lutheran young adults, run by Lutheran young adults, for Lutheran young adults. From the East District! (Yes, it’s the East Region now, don’t worry about it)

We meet together throughout the year at various retreats. These retreats offer an opportunity to get together and pray together, worship together, and see that there actually are other people my age in the church. (It’s true!)

We define a “young adult” as someone between the ages of 18-35. 

We try to have a retreat even season – fall winter summer and spring. But results may vary. 

People arrive on Friday evenings. Saturday there will be a short Bible Study and other activities. Sunday is church and then departure.

We typically sleep over in a church so please make sure to bring sleeping bag/air mattress etc. and anything else needed for overnight stay. 

Food will be provided!

In order to cover the price of food and other expenses, we charge a $30 registration fee per retreat. This is to keep our organization self-sufficient.

If this is a difficulty for you, please let us know. Money should not be a barrier.
